    Northland Junior Race Series

The NJRS is a series of local races, also referred to as the "club races." These are intended to be fun races where young athletes test their developing skills - the races are not the purpose of the Development Team - learning skiing skills through training is the purpose of D-Team; NJRS is a venue for fun. Races are generally held every Sunday, beginning with the first Sunday in January. There is no charge for the races (though you need to be a member of one of the participating clubs like D/SAC), and local ski areas and clubs take turns hosting the races.

Parents and other available people are encouraged to volunteer and help with the races. Please see the Volunteer Page for available positions. For more information, contact Teresa or Paul Johnston (728-1225)

For the 2009-2010 NJRS schedule, click here.

If you're interested in learning more about how races in the series are scored, click here.

Paul and Teresa have also set up a site to deal specifically with NJRS, and you can visit it by clicking here.
